The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 3 out of 6 passed the Metallurgical Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Board of Metallurgical Engineering in Manila this February 10-12, 2015.
The members of the Board of Metallurgical Engineering who gave the licensure examination are Engr. Agustin M. Fudolig, Chairman and Engr. Juancho Pablo S. Calvez, Member.
The three-day examination was held at PRC-Manila using the Computer-Based Examination (CBE). The CBE is a user-friendly, desktop, windows-based and competency-based computerized testing system.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Thursday, February 26, 2015. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2015-2018. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals, prior to the oath-taking ceremonies.
The performance of schools in the February 2015 Metallurgical Engineer Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) “To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation” is as follows: (Any discrepancy in the report is not intentional on the part of the Commission, but rather due to miscoding of school codes by the examinees themselves. Concerned schools may write the Commission for correction.)
