The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the rescheduling of the Board Licensure Examination for SOCIAL WORKERS (BLESW) from June 28 and 29, 2015 to JULY 29 and 30, 2015 and the Board Licensure Examination for NUTRITIONIST DIETITIANS (BLEND) from July 29 and 30, 2015 to AUGUST 20 and 21, 2015 responding to appeals from the academe to accommodate universities/colleges who have shifted to the new academic calendar and whose students will graduate in the month of June this year.
The Professional Regulatory Boards for Social Workers and Nutritionist Dietitians recommended the rescheduling of the licensure examinations after consultations with the academe and the other stakeholders.
The PRC, in its issuance of Commission Resolution No.883 series of 2015 mentioned that, “there is a need to reschedule the BLESW and the BLEND to allow students whose graduation will fall on June 2015 and to facilitate the issuance of their Transcript of Records (TOR)”.
The new dates of exams and their corresponding deadlines for filing of application will be:
