March 2013 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) will be administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) through the Professional Regulatory Board for Teachers on March 10, Sunday in several testing centers nationwide.

Coverage
General Education: (Weight: 40% for elementary examinees, 20% for secondary)
English – Study and thinking skills, writing in the discipline, speech and oral communication, Philippine literature and master works of the world
Filipino – Komunikasyon sa akademikong Filipino, pagbasa at pagsulat tungo sa pananaliksik, masining na pagpapahayag
Mathematics – Fundamentals of Math, plane geometry, elementary algebra, statistics and probability
Science – biological science-general biology, physical science – with earth science
Social sciences – Philippine government new constitution with Human Rights; Philippine History, basic economics, taxation, agrarian reform, society, culture with planning, Rizal and other heroes, philosophy of man, arts, general psychology, information and communication technology
Professional Education: (Weight: 60% for elementary examinees, 40% for secondary)
Speech Therapy Female pattern hair loss
Virtual Office Weight loss program
Teaching profession, social dimensions of education
Principles of teaching, educational technology, and curriculum development
Facilitating learning, child and adolescent development
Assessment of Student Learning, developmental reading
Field study, practice teaching
Secondary teachers examinees have additional examination for specialization which will comprise 40% of their rating.
Exam cut-off:
An examinee must obtain an average rating of not less than 75% and must have no rating less than 50% in any of the test.
