LIST OF PASSERS: January 2018 Architect ALE Board Exam Results

MANILA, Philippines – The January 2018 Architect board exam results or Architect Licensure Exam (ALE) official results including the full list of passers, top 10 examinees, top performing schools and related announcements will be available at this website soon as PRC officially released the results online two (2) to three (3) working days after the last day of board examination.
The Architect board exam is administered by PRC Board of Architecture headed by its Chairman, Arch. Robert S. Sac and its members, Arch. Fidel Jose R. Siapno and Arch. Robert M. Mirafuente on January 26 & 28, 2018 at PRC testing centers in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao and Legazpi.

REGISTRATION DATE & REQUIREMENTS

These important registration schedule and requirements shall be secured by a successful examinee.
The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration will be announced by PRC along with official results.
Registration requirements: dduly accomplished Oath Form, Notice of Admission (for identification), 2 pieces of colored passport ID picture with white background and nametag, 2 sets of doc stamps and 1 piece of short envelope with name and profession written.
PRC is strictly implementing the online registration system for processing of appointment for registration effective March 30, 2016, details of which are written here.

RELEASE OF RESULTS

As per Resolution No. 2017-1068 entitled “Schedule of Licensure Examination for Year 2018″, the target release of January 2018 Architect ALE board exam result will be on January 31, 2018 (Wednesday) or three (3) working days after the last day of licensure exams.

Take note that it may also be out earlier or later than the target date without prior notice.

On the same exams conducted by PRC on June 2017, results were out after two (2) working days. On January 2017, results were released after five (5) working days while three (3) working days on June 2016.

EXAMINATION COVERAGE

The 2-days Architecture board examination conducted January 2018 covered the following areas:

History and Theory of Architecture, Principles of Planning, Architecture Practice (30%)
Utilities Systems, Structural Conceptualization, Building Materials and Construction (30%)
January 28, 2018 (Sunday)
Architectural Design and Site Planning (40%)
PREVIOUS EXAMS

Architecture is one of the programs with average number of examinees being administered by the Professional Regulation Commission.

On the most recent ALE exams conducted June 2017, 1,490 out of 2,679 ALE examinees passed. Jefferson Sabiano Ventura from Saint Louis University ranked first in the exams garnering 84.70% rating followed by Aldous Yabut Olbes from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Manila having 84.30%. In the list of top performing schools, University of Santo Tomas (UST) was the only school having 184 of its 221 examinees passed or an overall passing rate of 83.26%.

On January 2017, 919 out of 1,595 examinees passed. University of Santo Tomas (UST) was the only school in the top performing schools’ list garnering 112 out of 137 examinees passed or 81.75% overall passing rate. University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman examinees swept the first three spots in the top examinees list. Luiz Marko Pantua Silang garnered 83.70%, Robin Royce Yu Ibanez having 83.20% and Justin Xaver Dy Guiab having 82.90%.

During June 2016 of the same exams, 1,243 out of 2,224 examinees passed. Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) – Manila was the top performing school having 46 out of 53 board exam takers passed or 86.79% overall passing rate. Jeff Mcdaniel Yu See from University of Santo Tomas topped the exams garnering 84.00% rating. He was followed by Arjee Loui dela Cruz Jimenez from Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) – Manila having 83.10% and John Derick Ramirez Dasugo from University of Baguio having 82.20%.
